Metals Depot – Winchester, KY

Responsibilities:
  • • Welding & Fabricating custom steel products
  • • Welding & Fabricating steel racks and shelving units for warehouses and retail stores
  • • Maintaining quality standards through attention to detail
  • • Complying with all safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment
  • • Performing other related tasks as assigned


Qualifications:
• Previous Welding and Fabricating experience is required.
• Must be self motivated
• Excellent attention to detail

Saw Operator / Material Handler

Responsibilities:
  • • Locating material to be processed and moving it to the cutting area
  • • Accurately saw cutting a variety of metal products
  • • Operating, band saw, forklift and other equipment as required
  • • Maintaining quality standards through attention to detail
  • • Complying with all safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment
  • • Performing other related tasks as assigned
  •  
  • Qualifications:
  • • Previous metal saw cutting experience preferred but not required - will train
  • • Ability to read a tape measure required
  • • Must be self motivated
  • • Eye for precision and detail
  • • Excellent attendance record
  • • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Data Entry Specialist / Receptionist / Clerical

Responsibilities:
• Meeting daily goals for accurately entering files into database
• Reviewing previously entered data
• Answering incoming calls and directing callers to appropriate departments
• Providing office support and other clerical tasks
• Assisting the Office Manager as needed

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in data entry or administrative work preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to multitask in a high volume environment
• Superior communications skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Accountability & professionalism
• Excellent Attendance Record

Responsibilities:
• Assisting customers with material selection, pricing, etc. offering Just what they need ... Delivered!
• Meeting daily and monthly sales goals
• Processing sales orders and quotations
• Offering project assistance
• Accurately entering files into database
• Developing and maintaining knowledge of our evolving products and services
• Solving customer service issues
• Providing office support
• Other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in Metal Industry Sales, Customer Service or related field preferred, but not required
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
